Sammy Wood
Sammy is the latest SUPERLATIVE Athlete to join our ranks. At 26 years old, ex top level gymnast and CrossFit Athletic athlete, Sammy's stats are mind blowing!! She begun CrossFitting in 2011. In the 2012 Open, she placed 31st and competed at Regionals as an individual placing 21st. This years Open saw her placed 17th and she went on to compete in CrossFit Athletics team at regionals where they placed 4th.
Recently she placed 3rd at Semper Paratus championships and 1st at South West Sydney Smackdown. Taking out 3rd place at this years Schwartz's Challenge, Sammy is fast becoming the name on everyone's lips. Her attitude to training and competition encompasses the 21.15.NINE philosophy of living a life, superlative. With a 73kg Snatch, 87kg Clean and Jerk, 3.27 Fran and 3.47 Dianne, we can't wait to watch Sammy continue to take the CrossFit World by storm!!!
